What is AetherOS

One tiny device. A whole second life.

AetherOS is a free plugin that renders a fully working phone inside Final Fantasy XIV. It started as AetherLove, a dating app for Eorzeans, and grew into a complete operating system: a home screen with your apps, wallpapers and themes, notifications, folders and a growing catalog of experiences built for roleplayers, socialites and adventurers alike.

A real phone, in game

Home screen, dock, folders, notification shade, themes and wallpapers, all rendered natively in your game window and styled after the phone you already know.

Connected to real people

Every profile belongs to a real, verified player on your data center. Match, follow, chat and meet up, then walk over and say hello in person.

Apps for everything

Dating, microblogging, encrypted messengers, venue guides, market tools, housing alerts, cameras, games and more, with new apps landing all the time.
